Photography about photography. I have always had an interest in how people accept photography as truth. It is far from real. It is like any other art, it conforms to how the artist uses the medium. I am currently working on two separate photo projects and trying to begin a third.
The first is better seen than explained: My Angels series (working title) uses the constraints of all white wardrobe and background to express the models movements and the lighting that I create to convey emotion in a minimalist style.
The Nude/Clothed Diptych is a simple portrait series focusing on the subtle changes someone has in their perceived posture between being nude or clothed.
The 3rd project still in it's infancy is about tattooed individuals. My plan is to shoot tight portraits of just the models face and to pair that with a more abstract shot of their ink. I like to let my projects grow organically and let serendipity take it's course, so we will see where this goes.
