Who am I?
Ok, a brief bio:
-By day, I run a law firm here in NYC. I am an attorney, a real estate broker, a tax preparer, a professional manager, a devoted son and a little bit of a goofball.
As a result of some of my work with Entertainment clients (both legal and management), I became heavily involved with an immensely talented photographer, David Adam Beloff (MM#293481) and managing that business, styling his shoots and doing retouching and graphic design for the studio is where I got most of the experience that I now incorporate into my own photography.
[Please note: While I realize that many professionals on this site ARE in need of entertainment/general law, tax preparation, real estate and/or management assistance, I am
not here to promote those businesses. ]
Why I AM here
Very simply: I'm here for an artistic outlet. I'm here to make art. I'm here because I believe I have a great eye for making beautiful things/people LOOK beautiful.
If I Tag you or send you a Friend Request, chances are I think you (or your work) are beautiful and want to collaborate with you to make some great art.
How it works
I do a lot of TF* work and am more than happy to help you expand your portfolio. If, however, you are seeking to work with me because you want headshots or have a specific project in mind that I don't think will necessarily benefit my portfolio, I'll be happy to provide you with my rates for such work.
With respect to TF* work, I generally like to shoot as many different looks, in one day, as possible. Most of the models I shoot with will get anywhere from 3 to 7 different looks. What that means, however, is: that when you work with me, you're gonna be here awhile! Please don't book a shoot with me at 3:00 if you have plans at 5:00.
As for style, I shoot some fashion and some commercial work, but primarily shoot Glamour, including pin-up.
I don't require any model to do nudity --and will always respect any limitations a model might have-- but understand that I shoot Glamour. So, if you're a model and you're uncomfortable doing Glamour, chances are, we're just not a great match. That doesn't mean that we can't still be friends or that we can't still appreciate each other's work. It just means that we are probably not compatible to work together.
How/Where I shoot
I generally work from my home in Lower Manhattan. You will see many outdoor shots in my portfolio and (in an attempt to provide as much diversity for each model as possible), I try to shoot most models in at least one outdoor location. These photos are primarily taken along the Hudson River in Lower Manhattan and in/near Battery Park, Rockefeller Park, Teardrop Park, Wagner Park and Hudson River Park.
I will ocassionally work in other locations throughout the City.
All of the interiors displayed in my portfolio were shot in my home studio, under professional lighting.
As an experienced stylist, I style all of my own shoots and will select all wardrobe (and sometimes, provide wardrobe). I will select all locations and will supervise hair and make-up for all shoots. If you don't think you're competent with hair and make-up, please let me know, so we can make arrangements to bring in a professional.
LET ME BE YOUR FIRST!
I've been very fortunate to work with several young models who have done few, if any, shoots before working with me. I think I've got a knack for making models feel comfortable and helping to bring out the best of their potential.
If you like what you see and think I can bring out your best, get in touch and let's make some art!
If you have any other questions about me or my work, please do not hesitate to ask. If you want additional information, feel free to contact any of the artists in my "Top Friends." The people in my Top Friends are all either people that have worked with me or know me. If you want/require additional references, please feel free to ask.
Finally, . . .
I hope you don't think this profile makes me sound stuffy or uptight. As any of the models that I've worked with can vouch for, shooting with me is a tremendously fun, funny, musical, laid-back experience. While I take my art seriously, I find that the end results are far superior if the model and I are totally at ease with each other. I will go out of my way to make you feel as comfortable as possible and to have as much fun as possible.
Now, go . . .
Go make some beautiful art!

David Adam Photography (Photog. MM# 293481) My friend, my client, my photography mentor; where I learned --and continue to learn-- everything I know about the art, the science and the beauty that is Photographic art.
==============================================
The exquisitely beautiful Kristina Love (MM# 341741), whom I've had the pleasure of working with on several projects and who never ceases to amaze me with her demure and natural beauty.
==============================================
The lovely, talented and totally fearless, Laura Aleman (MM# 695225)**, who inspired the leap from stylist to lensman. Gracias Señorita Aleman!
==============================================
Teresa723 (MM# 703306), who despite language barriers takes great direction and who knows no boundaries.
==============================================
The quintessential "girl next door", Leah Berry (MM# 721697), who broadened her horizons, took risks, learned to be "sexy" on film and was an absolute delight to work with.
(yes, I think the ".gif" is cheesey too, but when I saw the two --nearly identical-- photos, I just couldn't resist)
==============================================
The totally sexy Jane N (not on MM)
who provides proof that, if you have an eye for true beauty, you can seek it out and find it anywhere (including serving cocktails on the Upper East Side.) Fate --and my friend Suzanne-- brought me into that restaurant, but I left with a truly stunning new model.
==============================================
Jackie Schram (MM# 766936) who, at 6'1" is my nominee for
America's Next Top Model.
A consummate professional, a talented, beautiful model and a helluva singer. (And, this girl knows her Broadway soundtracks!)
If you get the chance to work with her, take it!
==============================================
Nemi Bea (MM# 28713), Model Supreme and MM Moderator extraordinaire.
Far & away the cutest model I've ever worked with, with green hair! She took on three photographers like a pro and not only gave us some great images, but also one of the most fun shoots ever. Thanks Nemi!!
==============================================
Emily Eason (MM# 787215)
One of my favorite Barbie Dolls. You can dress her up any way you like, pose her any way you like and she has one of the most amazing figures around! An absolute pleasure to work with. A totally fun and creative session!
==============================================
The very beautiful Jana Olivia (MM# 746250)
Just like the "girl next door" . . . if you happen to live in Stockholm . . . next door to a long-legged blonde beauty!
Thoroughly professional and lots of fun to shoot with.
==============================================
Anna Effin Evans! (MM# 322877)
She really doesn't need much description. A good friend, a great model and someone who got me through a pretty rough weekend. Thanks Anna!
==============================================
Pin-Up Queen, Kita St. Cyr (MM# 59977)******
One of the best pin-up models on MM. It was an absolute honor to work with this super professional and super fun lady.
==============================================
Krystal Lavenne (MM# 703223)**
I'd love to tell you that she was unprofessional, unattractive, difficult to work with and obnoxious --'cause then you wouldn't try to steal my new muse from me, but she was so amazingly wonderful to work with. She is a total pro with looks that can kill.
==============================================
Larisa Burdeynaya (MM# 6662)
(even though Larisa doesn't like this photo --because of her expression-- I think it's absolutely adorable!)
I thoroughly recommend Larisa to anyone on this site who wishes to make professional images that are sexy, fun, unique, exciting or just plain awesome. One of the most enjoyable shoots I've done. Thanks Larisa!!
==============================================
Natalie Claire Turner (MM# 782241)
Though I called her a "psycho" during our shoot, she was an absolute pleasure to work with and gave me one of my favorite images. Do not hesitate to work with this beauty
==============================================
Laura Unbound (MM# 856920) ****
A model who gives absolutely everything to her work. Laura proved to be both a good friend and a great little muse. She did everything that was asked of her and endured rough conditions to produce some fun and experimental images. Thanks Ms. Laura!
==============================================
Velocity Girl (MM# 800145)
A crazy woman. We had a great time shopping, buying fun stuff to shoot with. This was the first rooftop nude shoot I've done when the model actually had decent weather to get nude in. She did not disappoint.
==============================================
There are few models as talented --or with as diverse a Portfolio-- as Engel Schrei (MM# 326608)
I consider myself very fortunate to include Engel in my Portfolio and count her as a friend. My shoot with her was done with a Point & Shoot, in a very informal setting, but she still rocked it; 'cause she's just THAT good!
==============================================
Sexy, Sexy, Sexy (oh yeah, and did I mention. . . SEXY) Stephy C. (MM# 645515)**

(pictured here, with Make-Up Artist, Anna Evans)
Stephy oozes sex-appeal like a Vermont tree oozes maple syrup. I only had 15 minutes to shoot with her, but she was really able to deliver in that short time. Thanks Stephy!
