A few tidbits about me, photography-wise:
I've been shooting seriously for over 10 years and it is admittedly an addiction. For me it's mainly about the shooting experience and collaborating with like-minded people.......getting a successful image from a shoot is like taking home a souvenier from a really great trip.
As far as any personal style goes, I tend to shoot mainly black and white images (although I have been enjoying more colour projects lately) that lean toward the atmospheric, with a tendency to concentrate on what I don't show as much as what I do. A sense of mystery, I suppose...leaving something to the imagination.
In the past I've had work shown as part of the annual Contact Photography Festival here in Toronto as well as film industry work doing production stills for films and headshots for talent. My photographs have also been used in the designs of music CD releases and for several local businesses.
In addition to paid assignments, I'm looking for VERY select new TFP collaborators. It's always exciting to work with new people and create a little bit of magic. Serious enquiries only please.
While the shooting experience for me is first and foremost about having fun, I take my commitments very seriously and expect others to do the same. If there's any possibility of a flake factor don't waste our time, please and thanks.
I've recently become involved in the group Heterosexuals For Same-Sex Equality and their "Straight Not Narrow" campaign. Anyone interested in lending their time to create promotional images for them are more than welcome to contact me about it. * www.straightnotnarrow.ca
