I love to help Models get interesting shots, that they like, for their portfolio.


MODELS: PLEASE READ BELOW about my rates and if you Flake or don't give at least a 48 hour cancelation notice.


PHOTOGRAPHERS:  I belong to a Photographers Group of over 1,200 Photographers from the Twin Cities and Twin Cities Suburbs .. Send me a message if you're a Photographer, and have an interest in joining our group. We have every level from students to very experienced, keeping in touch by E-Mail, and occasional meetings.
I can also rent my studio out for a shoot from time to time for $ 50 /hr.



CURRENTLY did a shoot last January in Anaheim Hills, CA for 4 days, and at a Bel-Air Mansion for 3 days ... both private residences with very nice rooms, pool and fire-pits. Be sure to E if you're a Female Model in the area, and wish to schedule a shoot for some bikini, glamour and artistic nude photos for your portfolio. Will be shooting there again in 2014.
If I obtain a paying client, you will be paid above industry standard for those shots the client pays for. You always maintain the right to refuse the client, or purchase of your photos.

My new Studio in the Old Grain Belt Brewery Buildings in N.E. Mpls ( www.GBStudio211.com ) is now open. Looking for TFP Female Models to test the lighting and backdrops ... a great way for you to get images for your portfolio, on a free test shoot basis.

Come see my work at The St Paul ART CRAWL on the 6th floor of the Rossmor Building on Robert St. above the Keys Restaurant April 26th, 27th and 28th, or at my Studio during Art-A-Whirl in N.E. Mpls. May 17th, 18th and 19th.


Rates: My current rate is $ 45 per hour... plus studio costs of $ 25 per hour if shooting in the studio ... way under industry rates for the quality. However if you can bring some excitement to my portfolio that I don't already have, I will consider TFP, a free test shoot or other compensation.
Please understand ... this is a business for me, that if a Model schedules a shoot, and flakes ( doesn't show or doesn't give at least a 48 hour cancelation notice ) that I charge a $ 100 re-scheduling fee, and the Model goes on The Photographer's Of MN networking sight, that they are a Flake ... not a serious Model.

*** Currently selecting Models for the open spots on our last run for personal 2014 calendars ... starting the selections for 2014 and 2015 calendars ---- Nudity is involved.

I'm a digital Photographer with 15+ years of experience helping Females build their portfolios, 5+ years teaching Photography at the University of Minnesota, and one on one classes ... and my rates are very reasonable, lowest in the industry for good quality work & a fun shoot!
I also have 3 or 4 years of Adobe Photoshop experience as well as Elements 10, for when we need to do a little bit of touching up.

Models … the photographs that you post should be the best shots of you that you can possibly get, as they represent you. If the photos aren’t, or don’t appear professional, then you most likely won’t be getting professional jobs from them.
Yes, a professional Photographer will cost some money, however, 90% of the time, if you’ve gone to a good professional Photographer, it will pay off for you.
Just good looks and good poses doesn't make it ... if the Photographer doesn't use effective lighting, or doesn't have a good eye for a great shot, the good photos are missed.

TEST SHOOTS: " People don't usually hire an unknown from pictures and references (unless you are famous and have a reputation built).  Clients don't know if it took you 1000 photos to get only one good one or if you move well during shoots or require tons of direction so a test is the way they establish if you have what they are looking for.  Doing non-paid test shoots are common place for agency or non-agency represented models.
