I am 37 years old, but I guess you could call me an old-timer. We former film photographers had to have talent and had to know what we were doing. There was no Photoshop to save you. We had to get the image right in the lens. I have been shooting photography since 1980's. I loved it so much I got a photography degree (BS) from CMSU in 1992. I joined the Professional Photographers of America and got certified (C.P.P.). Received a few merits including an award winner from PPA Heart of America. Attended advanced training at Winona (Florida) and five years of MAIPP (Mid America Institute of Professional Photography). I am mainly a paid portrait/wedding photographer but have experience with architecture, large and medium format, commercial, and forensic. I get my style from some of the greats I have been fortunate to have studied under - Christopher Short, Ralph Romaguera, Gary Fong, and the late Monte Zucker.
I had about an eight year hiatus from photography. I have returned in the past year, picked up some accounts and just started marketing myself again. Most of my great modeling work was done on film and long lost. I am freelance now, so whatever your needs are, contact me and we can work something out. Obviously, I need some new models to help update my portfolio. If it helps, I used to retouch photographs for a national lab (with real paint) and am now considered a Photoshop master.
