My name is Katja Muller and I am 18 years old. I have been a photographer since I was thirteen. My father gave me the old 35mm canon he used in college and ever since that day i have been in love with photography. I started by making my siblings and cousins my models, after i was through with them i turned to my friends. when i moved to the united states i met a girl who was as passionate for photography as i am, she would later become my best friend. Together Kristine and I would practice our photography. I started modeling for her and she modeled for me, we started coming up with crazy ideas for photo shoots. One day we would break into abandoned buildings, the next we would be at the beach and the next we would be climbing a hill with heavy luggage where we had our outfits, the makeup, our props (consisting of frames, balloons, feathers and what not) and our camera gear. Even tho by the time we got up that hill we only had two balloons left, we made it work.


I want to be a visual journalist. My dream is to travel to Chiapas, Mexico and make a documentary about the poverty issues. I want to raise public awareness about what is going on in third world countries.


Whether I am taking pictures, modeling, filming out on location or working at a movie set, I'm a hard worker, I have fun with what I do, and I love doing it.
