About Me:

My name is Isolda Marie Meade and I'm a freelance designer in New York City and the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
Isolda Couture is a collection of my designs, which was presented for the first time at NOVA Fashion Week on March 1st, 2009.
I graduated with a B.A. in Fashion Design from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia and have attended various courses at FIT. In 2003, I worked as a design intern for Betsey Johnson in New York City.
My designs consist of vintage, bohemian, and lingerie styled looks. I hope you like what you see! To become a MySpace friend, please visit:

Model Preferences:
Please note that the preferences listed are for runway and print work. Also note that I will consider anyone if the overall look is right.
Model Type 1: Overall, I tend to look for modern pin-up type models with a somewhat curvy-looking figure and a bouncy personality. Preferably she is around a sewing size 6 (Bust: 34.5", Waist: 25.5", Hips: 35.5"), 19-25y/o, with medium to long blonde or chocolate brown hair and has dramatic eyes. Think Dita Von Teese, Natalie Dormer or Adriana Lima as they have inspired past lines.
Model Type 2: To compliment my pinup models, I'm also on the look out for adorable alternative style models with piercings and/or tattoos along with an overall Punk/Goth look and attitude (during the shoot). Preferably she is around a sewing size 6 (Bust: 34.5", Waist: 25.5", Hips: 35.5"), 19-25y/o, with any color hair and has dramatic eyes. Think Zui Suicide, Audrey Kitching, Raquel Reed or Mosh.
Model Type 3: For a new project I'm working on, I'm looking for models that can be styled as Georgian era women who possess natural grace and poise. Preferably she is around a sewing size 6 (Bust: 34.5", Waist: 25.5", Hips: 35.5"), 19-25y/o, with medium to long blonde, chocolate or ginger colored hair and has dramatic eyes. Think Gemma Ward and Coco Rocha.
I try to work with models who meet the industry standard of 5'8"-6'3" tall. However I'm always willing to make exceptions if the overall look is right and the project allows for flexibility on height.
