As a Fashion/Wardrobe Stylist, I embrace all new and unusual trends of the past and the present. Some people crave chocolate- I crave finding and creating fresh trends.
Since fashion dates way back when, some of the most epic styles originated decades ago- 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, etc. It's exciting to take an old trend and add a modern twist to it. One of the best elements in today's fashion world, is seeing how every era is represented.
Although I do not have a formal background in the fashion industry, my fashion education comes from my awesome yet crazy life experiences of growing up in South FL (Collins, Lincoln, Ocean, Soho...) and going to school in New York City (the fashion capital of the world). As far back as I can remember, I've been exposed to a multitude of diverse styles from European, Punk, Vintage, Preppy, Hippy, Boho, Beachy, Retro, Skater... You name it. Incorporating those styles into my work is what I bring to each project. Even though I'm not against "the books" so to speak (as I am a graduate of NYU), you can't beat what you learn in the street. It's raw and oraganic, which can't be taught.
I'm not a fashion snob. I will and can dress anyone of all ages, sexes, genres, heights and body types. I have an eye for what looks good and I'm not in any way intimidated by dressing-up anyone. It's what I love to do.
I'm always eager to take on all different types of projects and make lifelong connections. In this industry, it's all about reputation and who you know. My career as a Stylist is extremely important to me. I take my work very seriously, and I'm looking for the same in return.
If you're interested in future collaboration, send me a message and I'll get back to you.
Thanks and be blessed!
