SAKEENA DEREON FELDER - MODEL / ACTRESS/ DANCER
Dereon Felder is an up and coming print/ commercial model from Philadelphia’s Uptown section. Entertainment has always been her passion! Since the age of 3, Dereon spent her time singing and dancing in local talent shows and showcases, as well as participation in her share of beauty pageants. She found where her heart belonged after attending Barbizon Modeling School and Philadelphia Danco. Dereon has been modeling since the age of 12.
Dereon’s multi- talents, which include: dancing; singing; acting and of course; modeling, were inspired by three phenomenal women in the industry. She strives to be all she can be and truly respects the talent, grind and passion found in Beyonce, Ciara and the late, yet great, Aaliyah.
During down- time, one may find Dereon spending time with family and friends, working out in the gym, shopping or traveling. She is a very out-going ambitious creative soul. Dereon loves traveling to new places seeing and learning new things. Where there is an opportunity and a spotlight, one will be sure to find Dereon!
In her life, Dereon has spent a few years working for the School District of Philadelphia as a dance instructor. This was a program developed to teach young children different styles of dance and how to stay in shape. It also aided in keeping these young children off the streets after school. Dereon’s participation in this program was one of her ways of giving back to her community. Dereon has since established her own modeling company, Beauty Inc. Models. Currently, she is diligently working to get her company off the ground and her brand recognized all over the world!
Dereon Felder is a “Diamond in the Rough” just waiting to be found. She believes in her dream and is chasing that dream until she succeeds. She believes in having a vision and turning that vision into reality!
