Hey there Nebraska girl..
Since you're new and so darn cute, I'll show you how to replace that "no avatar, newb" sign with your own photo..
First, on this same page, scroll up to that black toolbar above, and click on the "my stuff" button.
Then, click on the "manage photos" button.
Then, choose just 1 photo that you would like to use to represent your portfolio on your main page, and next to the photo that you like, click on "set as avatar".
That should do it. It should be posted.
Geez..thats alot of typing...wanna just go and do a photoshoot instead?
