I actually built my own ring light for around $80 from stuff found at home depot and wallwart. Its a 4600k fluorescent ring with a diffuser around it and it goes over and around my lens and is held in place with memory foam. It easily out performs rigs costing over $1000. The pictures speak for themselves :]
