About Me

2015-16: NEW ORLEANS + Open to shoot.

I am a photographer, singer, musician, poet, model, and avid book reader. I enjoy cold seltzer & traveling the world. I am here to make art, not money. Please no big egos or attitudes.

Sometimes I also model for photographers and painters and whatnot. Here is a painting of me looking like a technicolor pirate, ARGGGGGHH:

Ok, enough of that, here is my long winded spiel:
All of my double exposures are done in camera, not post processed,
all my shots are minimally processed and color corrected.

I am not a "commercial" photographer, in the sense that I take pictures for a living... but I am not an amateur, don't need to build my portfolio, and I will not pay you to model for me, even if I am in love your work. I have been doing this for 15 years, my time is valuable to me, and I'm happy to share it with you, but please don't try and send me your rates, I'll just send you mine in return. This is why I mostly scout my own models (see my photos, most are not "models"). I am happy to supply models with a TFCD (20+ fully edited images, often 30-40, in a suitable agreed upon time frame), home cooked dinners, silly jokes, unlicensed therapy, reiki, tarot readings, personal concerts, and/or high fives. Wonderful. And yes, I am serious about all of those things.)

I want to give models a very different set of photos than she/he already has in their portfolio. There is so much generic digital junk out there that can make anyone with a $2000 dollar camera and two working eyes seem like a decent photographer. To me, it is boring work, over manipulated on a computer, airbrushed, photoshopped to pieces, etc. No offense to the Photoshop Wizards, I just feel they are different art forms. I would rather spend my time behind a camera than on a computer editing all day. A photographer can only do so much. People are beautiful anyway. If you just let people show their natural beauty and attempt to capture it in a moment, it's going to be better than micro managing them and editing their every freckle. But that's just me.

Hence the name: Primitive Images.

I love listening to models who have ideas for a shoot that they really want to do, I live to actualize those dreams! I also would love to meet other model/photographers that I could exchange shoots with, I model, you model, we both go home with new photo's of each other and ourselves!

I generally don't like having other people around while we're shooting. If you want to bring a female escort, I'm fine with it, but better yet, why not just check my references!!!

Please feel free to contact any or all of the MM models I've worked with:

#359563 - Wyllow - An amazing model with a really versatile and unique look, I loved shooting with her. She is fun, friendly, interesting, and professional. I strongly recommend working with her.

#355856 - Coli - Amazing poses come from this beautiful dancer and model. She has a sweet and innocent face and eyes that could break hearts. A wonderful spirit to capture on film.

#1289925 - Kace Face - A spunky sense of humor, a willingness to get naked in public, a fierce and gorgeous body, tattooed and pierced, outrageous and fun. What else could I ever ask for?

#441849 - Caylie - She has the ability to transform into about 3000 people in the course of 5 rolls of film. A great model with an amazing smile.

#442856 - Erica - A powerful model with exceptional eyes. She has a sweet grace about her and really knows how to get "that" shot you are looking for. An absolute pleasure to work with.

Things I am looking to shoot:
1.) People who want to pose as their favorite (spiritual) saint, anywhere in the city.
2.) People willing to wear a lamp shade on their head. This series is turning out awesome.
3.) As always, double exposures of all kinds. Want one of you?

Anything else, let me know. I'm always up for new ideas!
