Keri Atkins did not foresee a future in the fashion industry, let alone a career as a plus model. Most of her life, she felt as if fashion was not for her, due to her size. In fact, it wasn't until she was an adult, when she saw her first plus model and campaign. Not long after this, Keri was approached by a store manager, asking her to consider plus modeling.
Over four years later, Keri is now signed with Plus10, a division of Theary Sim Inc.Her work has been seen in USA TODAY, Skorch Magazine, Rack PLUS Magazine, Curves and Chaos, Midnight Muse Magazine, The Lioness Magazine and many other publications. Keri also participated in May Faith Photography's 'BEAUTIFUL AS I AM' campaign: meant to call attention to bullying. This campaign was published in the HUFFINGTON POST, on countless blogs, local radio stations and lead to Keri being interviewed for a news feature, as well as being a guest for a LIVE interview on KGW NEWS. In October 2012, Keri Atkins also won the prestigious award 'BEST PLUS MODEL' at the 1st Annual Portland Fashion and Style Awards.
