On self commissioned work
"I never like to do the same thing over and over.. I do get influenced but don't we all.. but you can take a page out of someone's book and reinvent (NOT copy) to call your own.. that's the difference.. Often people are bogged down to what's being accepted by the mass audience, the need to be validated and then you just keep on creating the same work with different models, it becomes very homogeneous. But this is not why I am here for.. I like to tell stories, to create an experience for my audience, whether it's a fantasy, a train of thought or something I dream up.. also when working with models, don't let them do all the work.. you visualised it..you have to deliver it through your artistic directions."  -

Photographic Experience
Fashion / lifestyle photographer with over 13 years experience. I like models who can show their emotions in photos, if i wanted a tree, i would photograph a tree. While most of us can photograph models in a pair of swimwear by the pool, Really.. the photos are not really saying much and the photographer isn't really doing his best as a visionary.  Models should understand why they are posing for me in the first place.. I'm a photographer, art director, storyteller, visionary and a daydreamer.. YOU on the other hand are the model, the actor and need to show the audience your personalities and characters through emotions and body language.  Give it to me!!  BTW i bring my warp sense of humour on a shoot..

I got approached by Marcuse to help with casting for models for their latest collection.  Process can include going through the models i have done tests with, or whatever they look for and are active in the industry.   Marcuse paid the models for the shoot.
