Dean Zulich is a native of Bosnia and Herzegovina, residing in Seattle, Washington since 1995. He graduated with honors from the Seattle Art Institute’s Photography Program in March 2007, while winning 15 different photography scholarships and contests along the way.
Since taking the best portfolio of the show award at his graduation, Zulich’s career has ignited. In December 2007. He was the runner up on VH1’s reality contest The Shot, America’s search for the next great fashion photographer. In May 2008, he was induced into Art Institute Alumni Hall of Fame.
In his brief career Zulich had opportunity to photograph the Seattle Seahawks, Joss Stone,Will.I.Am, Ricki Lake, Victoria Secret’s supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Marissa Miler and Miranda Kerr, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sarah VonderHaar and many others.
His clients list includes Seattle Magazine, Seattle Seahawks, Corbis, Farmboy Fine Arts, Sheer Style, while he has been published in Marie Claire, New York Times, JPG Magazine, Seattle Magazine, The Stranger, Bulb Magazine, REFOTO, Maxi Magazin and more.
