Bio
Danny Setiawan is an Indonesian born visual artist who combines traditional and digital media in his art.
Danny immigrated to the United States in 1997, and earned his Masters of Fine Arts degree in multimedia from Parsons School of Design in New York in 2003.
In many of his recent works, Danny uses human body as his canvas. Some of his creations, immediately recognizable replications of great paintings of the past, are tributes to his predecessors.
Danny's work has been featured on TV shows and magazines in the US, Europe and Asia.
Danny currently lives and works in New York City
All the images in this portfolio are painted, shot and edited by him unless explicitly specified.

Portfolio Shoot out sessions
- 45 minute dedicated time slot for you to shoot the model that we painted at our studio.
- We provide the model, body painting, studio, strobist kit
- All you need to do is bring your camera (plus fancy lighting if you prefer).
FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS: Studio + body painting
- We do the body painting and provide the studio space for you to do your project.
- We can also provide the model(s)
