*Update: I will be spending my summer between school semesters, in Thailand living out of a backpack (mostly Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya). Would love to do some shoots while there, so give me a shout if you're interested in collaborating on a project! Cheers.
*Currently back in school in Ottawa (taking further photography and webdesign courses), Canada, I plan on returning to the UK soon. Most probably Cardiff, but I'll frequently be in London as well.
I'm most interested in photography of and doing art based on the photos in these areas:
Mythology/Fantasy
Historic
20's-40's Pin-ups
Straight up portraiture
Also interested in doing shoots related to:
Science Fiction
Gothic
Punk and Steampunk
Movement and Dance
I am under the artist/painter category (which I am, though I'm a digital artist primarily now) but I also do photography which I utilize a LOT in my art...unfortunately there is no catch all category to include both. When it comes to my art I am very experienced, when it comes to my photography I have about 5 years as an amateur and have been working with models for TFCD for just over a year and am now branching out into paid work for specific projects of mine that I wish to sell commercially in time (the most risque of which is a non nude calendar, all else will be art books and visual reference used for illustrated books, so yeah basically I'm the photographer who keeps telling girls to put their clothes back on!).
I'm on here as I have a number of projects in mind that will require models (both guys and girls) and this seems the best place to find them. One is an older children's book set in 1898 of explorers, I'll be needing to rent costumes and time perhaps on a stage with a number of models at once and the other is a greek mythology project done with a mixture of photography and photoshop. So obviously I'll be needing a lot of different "looks". Random photoshoots for TFCD are always welcome to meet new models and get practice in the field. But for any specific projects that I need absolute ownership of the images I will pay your usual rate. I look forward to working with many of you,
