Hello, and thank you for stopping by to check out my portfolio.  My name is Gary, and I am a part-time photographer from Nebraska. 

I became interested in photography at a very young age, but  was  just an ordinary "snapshooter" until 1995.  Due to an on-duty injury at work that year, I was unable to return to work for an extended period of time, and because of my restless nature, I had to find something to occupy my time.  It was then I decided that photography was the answer.  But where to begin?

In 1999 I took a vacation to Arizona and Utah, and decided on my return that landscape photography was what I wanted to pursue.  But soon afterwards, however, I became frustrated because the landscapes I found in Nebraska were not the ones that I had so quickly grown to love and preferred to photograph.

Then in 2002, while attending a Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, I met a part-time model and her photographer husband, and was introduced to a wonderful new world of photography.  After a few photo shoots with them and others, I was convinced that model photography was really where I wanted to be.

As a "retired" teacher, I so enjoy meeting and working with new models and photographers, and because my photography doesn't supplement my income, most of my work is TFP/CD.  I am an open-minded individual who is always interested in ideas and techniques from others.
