It started out innocent enough, a friend showed me how in their father’s work room. Soon I was doing it every chance I got. In high school I would experiment with girls in the chemistry lab storage room. It was dark and private so I could shoot and develop the film and make prints and learned a lot about a lot of things.
Now days I do almost everything digitally. Almost. I still believe in the artist touch guiding the way. Recently I took classes in make-up. It was very hands-on and it has opened a whole new world of possibilities which I am beginning to explore.
I work in many media’s, photography being one, I could list them, but what would be the point. What’s really important is that I am learning new things every day. That is my way.
These are pictures from a music video I shot using my Canon 1Ds Mark II. Yes, it is a still camera, but the quality of the images is sooo much better than my video camera... check out the video here mdot.silverwood.com
