This half-day seminar will touch on smooth skin without blurring (the million dollar question!), glamour skin "gleam", liquifying/body contouring, muscle definition, dodging and burning, glamour touches for eyes, hair, lashes, strategic sharpening, vignettes, color adjustment, contrast, brightening and strategic lighting and color (make your pictures POP!), background clean-up, object removal, hair wisps, tricks with layers and more.
The classes focus on efficient techniques that render beautiful results quickly without sacrificing quality (and ultimately increase your bottom line). I demonstrate quicker ways to achieve flawless images. This is a wonderful opportunity for models and photographers to not only save on retouching costs, but create a professional portfolio that will blow competition out of the water. Classes are structured to most benefit retouchers at a beginner to intermediate level.
As well as live demonstration, instruction and plenty of time for Q&A, participants receive a booklet with step-by-step details on many tricks and techniques AND a disc of the Superstar action set to really make your images pop with the press of a button. Participants also become eligible for discounts on various time saving plug-ins and actions from sponsor developers. Participants are invited to submit their own images for live retouching during the class. This is a great way to address the techniques you have struggled with. Classes are kept small so it is a very interactive learning experience and is an incredible value, overall.
About the instructor: I specialize in professional, high-end retouching and digital enhancement with a focus on realistic results. I am a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) and have 8 years of high profile experience and my work has appeared internationally in magazines, ads, billboards, websites, retail sites and more. This includes a long employment with Playboy, where I received much of my training. I often receive emails requesting intruction so I have recently begun a national seminar series which focuses on efficient, non-destructive techniques that render beautiful results quickly without sacrificing quality.
