Today, I'm a mostly experimental photographer, and I'm working to refine my own method of using infrared light. My imagery tends toward dark themes, or a goth style, or whatever you want to call it. All I'm looking for here are those who want to do make some unusual images and are willing to experiment with the process to make it worthwhile. Most of my portrait work as I see it is atypical, and I like to engage in projects in which I don't quite know what the outcome will be. If you want a headshot that will get you into a fashion magazine, you're probably looking at the wrong photographer. If you want to go out on a limb and make something that won't necessarily fall within the norms of the fashion/glamour/commercial world... let's shoot.
My greatest interest is in shooting in complete darkness using a technique that, as far as I know, only I am using. When it works, it works *great* and produces very surreal imagery, but it's challenging. Up for it? Get in touch.
I'm also working more with traditional lighting and infrared these days. This too tends toward surrealism and dark imagery, and I can almost guarantee that we can use it to produce something unique.
I'm in Longmont, CO, close to Boulder. I can shoot at my home studio or on location in CO, and I'm willing to travel a little farther for the right kind of shoot. I also travel a lot, and love to shoot when I travel. I'm frequently in Mobile, AL. Soon I'll also be traveling periodically to San Jose, CA.
I'm doing mostly TF* shoots now. As stated, my focus is not on traditional glamour/headshot/model portfolio work, but I'm happy to do those in a trade shoot.
Male and female models of all body types, all ages are welcomed, and especially anyone with a flare for the dramatic.
Important: I contact several people at a time for a given date, so the first reply I get to a request is the one that I book.
I keep my friends list small. I just don't see a need to populate it with people I'm unlikely to work with, so I'll only add/approve people I intend to work with. If I remove you, I don't mean any offense; I just don't think we'll be shooting in the future.
