Today, I'm a mostly experimental photographer. I like working up concepts and shooting entirely around that, rather than shooting around idea based on equipment. A lot of my ideas center around spirituality, occult and supernatural topics, religion, conflict, and transformation. This usually makes my work atypical, and requires an exchange of ideas between the model and myself. I'm looking for people with interesting ideas and a willingness to fuse them with my own and play them out in images.

I'm in Longmont, CO, close to Boulder. I can shoot at my home studio or on location in CO, and I'm willing to travel a little farther for the right kind of shoot. I also travel a lot, and love to shoot when I travel. I'm frequently in Mobile, AL.

Concepts for shoots: I'm currently interested in the following...

- Depictions of bodily energy in yoga, tai qi, qi gong, tantra, etc.
- Multiple personalities
- Cthulhu mythos
- Astral projection
- Fusion of body and other materials (wood, brick, smoke, etc.)
- Tattoos coming to life

Special Project: I've been working for a long time with an experimental lighting technique. It involves shooting in complete darkness with no visible light whatsoever, not even when the shutter clicks. I use this technique to create surreal and dark imagery. The process is very challenging, for both model and photographer, but is also highly rewarding when it is successful. Here are some examples of this technique:









This style of shooting requires a creative mind, a penchant for dark art, and a willingness to experiment a lot to get it right. If you think you're up for it, say so.

Friends list: I keep my contact list small, prefering only to populate it with people I intend to work with. If I add you, it's because I want to shoot with you, sooner or later. If I remove you, I don't mean any offense; I just think it is unlikely we'll be shooting in the future.

Booking: I often contact several people at a time for a given project. The first replies I get are the most likely to book the shoot.

Escorts Please bring an escort if that helps you feel comfortable in a shoot. I sometimes ask escorts if they wish to help with some aspect of the shoot, but otherwise they should understand that they are there for the sole purpose of making the model comfortable.

My portfolio: I've cut out almost half of my portfolio. There were too many items that did not reflect what I'm interested in shooting... boring headshots, meaningless and trite poses, etc. I'll be building it back up soon with your help.

Compensation: All of my artistic work is done on TF* agreements, and I am picky about who I work with on most of my projects. If you are not up for my pet projects but still like what you see, I'm available for commissioned work as well.
