I am mostly experienced in runway, with semi-experience in print/photo shoots. I give preference to paid work, but am accepting TF, as I am in need of conceptual and head shots, and am looking to expand my portfolio. Other than that, I primarily stick to fashion.

Any shoot worth doing is worth doing well. That is my attitude towards modeling. Whether I am being paid or working TFP, I will put forth the same effort and do everything I can to create the best images possible. RÉSUMÉ
SCHEDULE****Due to financial circumstances I have taken a part-time, weekend job, in addition to my full-time job. This will severely limit the number of shoots I can schedule; I am working 7 days a week.

The good news?
It is only for the summer, wrapping up in early September. Also, having the extra money will allow me to be more flexible with accepting TF shoots.

The bad news?
It's lifeguarding, and I have developed the inevitable tan lines. They aren't horrible but they do exist.

So pretty much, I can't work until after Labor Day, but seeing as that's just around the corner, it probably isn't a big deal. But if the tan lines are an issue, more time will be needed.

Also, I haven't had time to buy, much less really afford, too many new clothes, so I may need some time to get a wardrobe together. If I am in charge of the clothes, I can definitely stick to pieces that cover the tan lines.

As for my schedule after Labor Day, I work a full time job, but I telecommute 4 days a week, so my schedule is flexible. I prefer the weekends, but Tuesdays thru Thurs are an option, too. Thanks for understanding.****

As a note, I do not shoot nudes/glamour for three reasons. One is I have just graduated college and cannot risk prospective employers somehow finding something and disliking it. Two, it's BFEO—Boyfriend's Eyes Only. And three, give many photographers an inch, and they take a mile. (I would be happy to supply the identities of such photographers if you would like to rip on them for ruining your chances of seeing my goodies. lol)

It is a personal choice, and I do not look down upon others who shoot that style, so long as it is actually good. But "no" means "no"; I will not reconsider, and every time you "doublecheck", you risk me discontinuing our correspondence, or worse, terminating a photoshoot.

*I shouldn't have to do this, but I will now, unfortunately, be bringing a statement to shoots with my limitations clearly listed, and I will ask you to read this at the beginning so you can be in a full understanding of my boundaries. My hope is that by presenting physical documentation of what makes me comfortable and uncomfortable, a better understanding will be made. My apologies for doing this.

Let me assure that I do take each case individually and do not automatically assume every photographer is a pervert; trusting people is just very difficult anymore.

*I am also considering enlisting a nun to become my permanent escort. I'll be sure to clear it with you prior to shooting if I can bring her.

I am fine with commercial lingerie and swimsuits, i.e. the models model to promote the lingerie. (Glamour lingerie models model to promote their bodies, and while their bodies and this style can look spectacular, this just isn't a style that I want to pursue.) Thanks for understanding.

Enjoy these fun facts:

I had surgery on my jaw in high school and now have the most wicked scar along my gum line, and have lost feeling in part of my chin.

I still have the journal I kept during the recovery, which includes a list of food I wanted to eat once I could open my jaw again.

I have written a short story entitled "Pussy" that stemmed from an accidentally death at a party. I write poetry and fiction often (more poetry), and am more than willing to share it; you never know what sort of creativity it could spark.

I am bipolar and consider it a blessing. I get to feel happier than most and can appreciate it since I have felt sadder than most.

Religion: I believe in karma and ghosts.

I am ridiculously afraid of spiders because I watched too many Discovery Channel segments and the movie Arachnophobia. (Who's to say that little house spider over there isn't some alien African-hybrid, which my friends have dubbed the African White Devil Spider?)

My only write-up at any of my jobs was for "striking" a girl. My manager later told me I should have flat-out punched her; he'd hire me back.

When I was little I wanted to be a storm chaser...until I realized they don't get paid much at all. I still maintain the life goal of seeing a tornado touch down. I have already seen a water spout though, in second grade.

My birthday is Jan. 24. There is a book called The Secret Language of Birthdays and it states that Jan 24 people "function as icons, perfect embodiments of what others themselves would like to be." Yup, that's about right. It's how I chose my website names—Jan. 24, the day of the Aloof Icon.

I lip sync to my iPod at the gym.

I was three when I went to a NASCAR race. I slept through most of it.
