I WANT TO SHOOT YOUR FACE!
with my camera
This is my CAMERA. There are many like it, but this one is MINE. My CAMERA is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My CAMERA without me is useless. Without my CAMERA, I am useless.
I am passionate about shooting fantasy themed images, something that tells a story. Clients describe my photography as fun, romantic, whimsical and enchanting. Putting my eye to the viewfinder and showing you the world through my eyes is magical. So please feel free to contact me if you'd like to collaborate and create something amazing.
Some random thoughts:
I want to have an idea in mind before we shoot so we don't waste each other's time with shots neither of us will use. The more planning before the shoot the better the outcome.
I shoot fast, my average shoot is 1 hour, i don't like to drag things on, when the vision has already been solidified then the execution doesn't need to take forever in my opinion.
My goal is to be like the Sham-Wow and make you say WOW! every time. I don't want the photographs we create to be mediocre!
I have a studio at my business located in Kearny Mesa so you don't need to worry about shooting in my garage, although the underground parking garage would make a cool setting, I guess I need to put a pin in that.
I edit my own images and do all my own digital art stuff to justify my student loans for a degree in graphic design, I know there are artists much better out there but trust me all that money has been spent.
I'm a volunteer photographer for Make-A-Wish! Such a truly amazing organization! I also do a lot of work for military families and various other charities.
I'm for the most part only available weekday afternoons to shoot, weekends are spent either shooting brides or chasing my kids which are both exhausting.
I create my shots because I LOVE IT, not because someone else might. I'd prefer critics over fans, it just helps me sharpen my skills.
I love being a daddy. My son was born a year and a half ago, he is the smile on my face. I have a beautiful bride, she is the beat of my heart. We just welcomed a daughter / princess into our family, my house is now full and I'm not looking to be on sister wives so shooting with you is ONLY for professional reasons.
I love my Creator. I love that He made me creative.
Sometimes I get paid for my work, sometimes I get paid nothing. And a paycheck doesn't make my work any better!
I love the smell of gasoline.
My celebrity shots come from my work as a press photographer every year at Comic-Con and various red carpet events. Shooting with me does not mean you will get to meet Natalie Portman. Sorry.
I shoot both film and digital, I may even bring a toy camera along.
My black and White photographs are mostly shot in black and white, there may not be a color version. Black and White is a different mindset.
I don't think Jessica Alba is ugly.

I am announcing the expansion of my portfolio into the modeling genre. I am open to TFCD's under certain conditions (conditions meaning you or I have a very good idea and am someone i'd like to shoot.) I've shot enough pretty girls at pretty locations, some of which are in my portfolio, if you want to shoot with me then let's collaborate and tell a story.
If you did read all this I commend you for that, my profile is ridiculously long and you could have spent the last 5 minutes of your life doing something better which hopefully you do have something in your life better then reading about me. All this to say I appreciate you taking the time to hear my perspective on my photography and hopefully there are some images in my portfolio that you enjoy, if so share it with me and put a smile on my face as well.
