Well tell so now I must tell something about me. I’m a student audio visual interactive design. What? Well all about video, photography, web-design , 3D animation and music. At the moment am I working on la lot of photography to understand more about image. In the future I also want to direct video clips and design band artwork. In 2008 are my plans to start singing again and start a project. (Soon more about that.)



In my free work I have something with “extreme art”, theatre, movies and also with stuff about army. And things in the media, or better should be in the media, to think about. I like to bring it beautiful but with something shocking so you can see it on different ways. On the other hand I just like to make some shoots to help models with their portfolio. Slowly am I trying to find my way in this style of photography. Beside working with models do I work with bands and also concert photography. Bands which I had  a photo-shoot with are; Angelspit (short promo session), Suicidal Romance (short promo session), Alt-F4, Staubkind (short promo session). And I also made pictures of bands onstage like; Deine Lakaien, Staubkind, VNV Nation, Feindflug, Stream of passion, Grendel, And One and so on.


In 2007 I started to write a book about the Dutch gothic scene (project oh my goth) with help of a lot of people from the Netherlands but also outside the Netherlands made it possible to become a beautiful project. Thanks to you all. In June the project is almost finished and on his way to the publisher. In June me and a friend of my who is a student graphic design are started a new lifestyle magazine for the Netherlands. The first edition of the magazine has been released on-line on 01-01-2008 on http://www.noizemagazine.nl .


What inspired me? Well a lot bands like: Deine Lakaien, Tyske Ludder, Faun are amazing to listen to. And always give me cool or freaky ideas. And I love EBM from the'90s and Dark wave.On the other side I listen to stuff like Deine Lakaien, Heimatearde, Faun. So I listen to all kind of underground music. At the other hand I just watch television, search for bands to listen to, look to other photographers, watch movies from that I also get idea’s to do. But now and than something just comes in to my head. But my biggest inspiration is music, movies, old stories, theatre, art styles (like (German) expressionism and Neo-Romantic) and daily things.





Things that I have done:

Kinslayer; band. My part was first guitar later singer. From 2003 till 2006.

Under a blue Dublin Sky (Dutch version); 5 illustrations. 2004

Oh my goth; book about the Dutch gothic scene. Written in 2007 (still waiting for release).

Noize Magazine; Dutch lifestyle magazine. Position; owner, photographer, head-editor, concept, reporter. First edition released on 01-01-2008


Radio & Production; visual manger, photographer, band promotion

Radiant Teddy; vocals, visual stuff and more.....

Nox Obscura: Lezing over fotografie

Op Nox Obscura zal ik een lezing geven over "gothic" fotografie.

Vanuit eigen ervaring en de ervaringen van anderen zal Alskaer een lezing over Gothic fotografie geven. Deze is gericht op zowel fotograferen als model staan en is voor iedereen toegankelijk. De onderwerpen zijn: modellen/model staan, locaties/urban exploring, tips en een korte extra over concertfotografie (met name exclusieve concert ervaringen) en hoe om te gaan met concertzalen en moeilijke licht situaties. Op zaterdag vindt de lezing plaats om 15.15 en op zondag om 14.15. Op 18 en 19 oktober 2008
