I do lend out items to photographers and models for photo shoots with the understanding that my work will be cared for and returned safely. if it comes back damaged i expect it to be paid for. i then expect to be able to use the resulting photos in my portfolio. I also ask that the postage and packing costs are covered.
I will custom make items for shoots under the same understanding if I'm passionate about a project.
with this I am only looking to work with people where i believe it will be mutually beneficial for both our portfolios.
i have custom made items for models to keep if i want them to model for me, but in general i only do this when i myself have approached someone.
