My name is Tom Wotkyns I am 25 years old and I own and operate Aperture101 Photography.
I am a photographer of all beautiful things within this world. I have been a serious photographer for the last 3 years and would like to expand my photographic collection and portfolio to include models using different techniques and situations.
I shoot with a variety of equipment at the utmost quality.
I have photographed many large events and love to photograph people. I would like to work with more professional people to gain experience and build a solid reputation.
I prefer to shoot in natural outdoor light with the aid of reflectors and other equipment as opposed to indoor studio shooting, however I do have a small indoor studio.
My goal here @ model mayhem is to build a new section of specialty in photographing models. It is a technique and art medium that I have always found very interesting and beautiful when photographed and presented tastefully. I photograph within a medium format and occasionally photograph large format depending on the assignment. I use a range of equipment form advanced professional DSLR Nikon cameras along with original Twin Lens Reflex cameras such as 1944 Yashicas and Roli's to obtain a true feel of the past.
I treat others with the utmost respect and courtesy in return for the same treatment.
I am a very tasteful photographer and will not pressure anyone to do anything that they are uncomfortorable with.
Aperture101Photography is a relatively new business which is in need of all the experience and publicity that it can acquire. I am the sole owner of the business and work with a few assistants both male and female who respect clients and models with the utmost respect, something of which I require from them if they would like to work with me in the future.
I would love to be a part of Model Mayhem so that I may work with a new variety of people and subjects to increase my portfolio and experience while building a reputable name as a respectable photographer.
