First things first, I'm still NEW at this.
Cut me some slack.
That being said, I strive to be GREAT at this.
I love photography. I love it, love it, LOVE it.
I started at the Art Institute of Portland under the film major, learning in's and out's of video composition, terms, etc.
When I took a photography class to gain better composition, I was hooked.
They opened up a program for Photography and Design and I was one of the first few to sign up.
All this time I had been renting school equipment. Making use of the studio, lights, flashes, lenses, filters, etc.
Unfortunately it was short lived, and in Spring 2009 I had to leave due to financial aid issues.
Now I'm looking to PSU for Graphic Design and hope to ehance my images and become a better artist overall.
Also, thanks to financial aid, I was able to buy a Canon Rebel XS of my own.
The fancy stuff I had to let go, but slowly I hope to build up an arsenal of useful equipment.
If you are looking for portraits, I'm still doing TF for portfolio work, and a cheap $25/hr for other projects.
Let me know if you like my portfolio and would be interested in collaborating!

"Ryan Arnold is a hard working photographer not only trying to bring out the best of the model, but he makes it fun and engaging at the same time."
- Nicki White (mm #1176992)
"Ryan knows what kind of pictures he wants, and he is very good with the models.
He is the next big thing, like Octomom and R Kelly"
- ricegirl007 (mm #1202257)
"I don't think I've ever shot with anyone as fun as Ryan!
I find it easiest to shoot when I feel like I can really be myself, and he's become a friend too!
I mean what other photographer do you know that would invite you to their birthday party?"
- Kyli Millender (mm #634231)
"Instead of just taking a bunch of random shots, Ryan methodically thinks out your position, your background, and the way the light hits you.
He is a fabulous photographer, and a joy to work with."
- Miss CutLaRey (mm #1123479)
''I loved working with Ryan today!
He was professional, but also got to know me and made sure I was comfortable, and satisfied with the shots.
I really like his taste and style!''
- Monica Kirnak (5/24/09)
"Ryan is a true natural.
Sometimes I wonder if the beauty that comes out in his photographs is what he sees in real life; if it is, I wish to trade perspectives."
- Jenny Lyons (mm #784246)
"Ryan is fun to work with.
Even if the shoot doesn't go exactly as planned, he is flexible, and will make something of it."
- Kyla Skye (mm #1069723)
"I've really enjoyed the photoshoots I'vee been involved in with Ryan.
He's very professional, funny, and an all-around nice guy.
Ryan's very good at setting your mood for the photo he's trying to capture.
I hope to be able to work with him again soon."
- Laura Odle (mm #495154)
"Ryan is a kick-ass photographer!
When I did a shoot with him everything, he was very laid back, and knew how to have a fun time while shooting.
My boyfriend and I had a blast working with him!
Ryan you KICK ASS!!"
