I am also interested in acting and am in the process of wrapping up 'Girl Blues,' a silent indie film. I choreograph hip hop and step routines for jhs and hs teams and showcases across the 5 boroughs and am known for poetry, wardrobe styling, youth activism and event coordination among other things.

At 20 years young I've realized it's time to stop talking about it and be about it, and after the NYC ANTM fiasco (Oy Vey!) it's quite clear to me that I have to make my own way.

I aspire to be a well known print model and I would love to be on deck for a brand campaign, anything from Rocawear to H&M to American Apparel cause I wear it all! It is also a dream of mine to grace the pages of well known magazines that my constituants read, such as Nylon, Cosmo Girl, Seventeen, Elle Girl, Teen Vogue, TRACE (Oh my God I would DIE) etc. I say Cosmo Girl as opposed to Cosmopolitan, and Teen Vogue as opposed to Vogue, because though I am 20 years old I have an affinity for youth, and I want young women of color to be fully aware of their worth and multidimensional beauty well before they're my age. Seeing someone that's NOT pencil thin or super thick, caramel colored or chocolatey brown, with natural hair in a major ad or clothing campaign would be something major in this society. That's where I come in. 5'4. A buck forty, naturally bronzed complexion, locks hangin down my back like, 'What?!?'
I love myself, and I love my people, and we should all just love each other and work together to benefit the whoooole universe. Sounds like poppycock but if everyone thought like me, who knows how long our life spans would increase???
I JUST WANT TO BE HAPPY !!!!!!!!!
And each day I take an amazing photograph, or I pen a killer hook, I'm doing my part to stay the happiest I can be and doing what I KNOW will eventually be the reason my son, family and I want for NOTHING.
Now for the randomnessssssss .........
I've been singing/ songwriting/ reciting poetry for 10 years, working in public schools all over NYC as a youth activity specialist and the choreographer of various step & dance teams and fashion shows for 7 years, and pretty much mentoring, counseling, advising everyone I know since I could fully comprehend the meaning of the word 'situation' lol.
I just love to love! I love myself, my intellect, my family, my friends and my ART. There is nothing else!
