I'm always open to TF.
I try to take pictures that tell a story. I'd like to work with more local models in the DC area primarily doing outdoor shoots. I sometimes offer payment for shoots, especially for experienced models, but I prefer TF shoots and would very much like to get more shoots with men and with groups of 2 or more models.
When I first joined Model Mayhem I would never have imagined getting a credited photo in Nature magazine. Moreover, loving to do nature photography, I'd also never have believed that experience working with models, through Model Mayhem, gave me the skill and ability to set up a quick portrait and howdy doo there is my little name in print. Ha ha!
I am primarily an internet marketer, mainly working with small companies to generate sales and sales leads and with nonprofit companies to increase internet fundraising. I became interested in improving my photography because I spent time with my camera creating images for websites.
My Model Mayhem shoots have helped me tremendously. I love shooting dancers and dance performances. My work with models helps me improve my overall photography skills, greatly benefiting my nature, architectural and other subjects.
I offer many thanks to the very professional models I've met through MM. The level of experience they bring to shoots at least partially offset my lack of experience, and to the photographers who participate in the forums, whose freely given advice has helped me improve my skills tremendously.
My internet marketing work has included work for photographers. I'm not really here to push that, but would be willing to answer questions.
