I'm an internet marketer who became interested in improving my photography due to spending more and more time with my camera creating images for websites. After learning by building up a portfolio of nature and architectural subjects I wanted to move on to more commercially viable photography. To get started I decided the best thing to do would be to hire a model who had some experience and who could tell me if I started going wrong.

My first several experiences with models has helped tremendously, but even more, just participating in MM has helped me see how to shoot better. The models bring so much to the shoot, not just their physical beauty, but often an ability to exceed the sum of their parts - by knowing themselves, to produce a picture almost of someone else, a prototype of grace, style, character, athleticism, the very image of perfection. I try to take pictures that tell a story.

I'd like to work with more local models in the DC area primarily doing outdoor shoots. I sometimes offer payment for shoots, especially for experienced models, but I prefer TF shoots and would very much like to get more shoots with men and with groups of 2 or more models.

In my internet marketing work, I've been working on a project designed to assist photographers in marketing their businesses through their websites. That project is ready to go to the next stage and I am now seeking beta testers for the user interface. Please PM me if you would be interested.
