I am Sheila Rodriguez, owner and designer for Genesi Funk. I am a freelance fashion designer based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I have been designing for about 13 years now. I attended The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and as a student there I got the oppertunity to work with important celebs such as Will Smith, D.j. Irie, and Rod Hagwood. After Graduating from Ai, I had the oppertunity to work with Venus Williams, Andy Roddick, Lorraine Thompson and many more. I love doing Charity work and have been involved with the Cystic Fibrosis, American Heart Association, and even the Opera Society Charity. I’ve showed at The Scarlett Affair fashion show, Miami Funkshion Fashion Week 2007 and 2008. I've had the pleasure to work with the Humane Society in a competition held in south florida and place 1st with them. I've been recognized by the Broward county media and have plenty of awards to back up the Frenzi behind Genesi Funk.
I want to be able to network with different people of the industry and hope to expand my portfolio with their talents.
