My name is Ja Quayan. I am a professional freelance photographer from the central New Jersey area, North Brunswick, to be exact. I specialize in commercial, lifestyle, & portrait photography. Coming from owning my own clothing line I've been very privileged to work with a good amount of models both pro and amateur even before picking up the camera for myself. So once i realized my passion for photography it was a pretty smooth transition. I enjoy working with pro models because of their experience and no need to give very much direction, especially if we've worked together before, the shoot just seems to flow and before you know it we're done. However I also LOVE working with new comer models. It moves me to see their fresh and exciting outlook on the industry and the all out excitement for each shoot they do. Being that I am a full time photographer majority of the shoots I do I'm paid for, However my rates are extremely good and I'm almost always running some sort of shoot special with even lower prices. I do TFP/TFCD shoots very selectively. The shoot would have to either be something that i really need for my portfolio, something for a bigger cause, or something that will be published.
