other great starter lenses for fashion is the 60mm f2.8 micro lens or the simple 50mm f1.4 both cheap on ebay. I use the 28-70mm f2.8 for everything you see in my port AND its cheap on ebay. Bought mine new for $1300 you can probably get it for $800ish. :)

the 18-200mm vrII is not a great lens. Model for a 24-70 f2.8 and the new 70-200 f2.8 vrii lens. EEK! those are niiice :)
