"Paris, Milan, NYC, Tokyo...Detroit? With apologies to my home town, it, and Southeastern Michigan in general, is not on anybody's list of "hotbeds for world-class glamour/beauty/fashion models".  Still, even a blind squirrel eventually finds a nut. Jessica Claire is my nut.
I'm not sure how best to write a testimonial for JC, unless it's to say, "My advice: hire her for your project and get way more and way better than you pay for. How simple a concept is that?" All the stuff clients and photographers want to know before considering hiring a model has already been said by all these other contributors with whom she's worked. Yes, she can turn from classically lovely to napalm seductive to disarmingly adorable within a single burst of frames. Ask her to give you a look, she'll give you precisely what you asked for. Don't ask her, and she'll give you a few dozen looks all so good you'll be challenged to choose a favorite. She takes direction flawlessly but requires none in order to give you a spot-on perfect shot. Sweet, sexy, natural, quirky, light and bright or dark and sultry, it's all there at her immediate disposal.  I agree with all the comments about amazing eyes, alabaster complexion, delicate features, fabulous figure, and on and on. But it's what's behind the amazing eyes that matters most, and with JC there's always a direct pipeline from the lens to the eyes and straight through to that sparking, arcing power station of ideas in her head. She can turn on the thousand-yard-stare with the best of 'em, but why would you want her to? There's so much going on in there and the camera sees it. Mine does, anyway, and I'm sure the other photographers represented in her portfolio would agree. You want a mannequin or a mask, that's just one more look in her arsenal, but there are depths and riches for the lens to tap that don't live behind every pair of "amazing eyes" you'll meet.
Along with the one book, one album, one movie...and one camera...I'd choose to be stranded with, Jessica Claire is my desert island model. If she hadn't made the indefensible decision to move to California (selfish, so selfish), we'd be shooting till Dick Cheney freezes over with no fear that we'd run out of ideas, no concern that she'd ever fail to find new ways to amaze through the viewfinder. And while she may argue that I am, in fact, a blind squirrel, she is most definitely a nut. This, I assure you, is high praise and lends an element of fun that somehow dovetails seamlessly with her meticulous professionalism before and during the shoot.  Without the slightest intention of insulting the skilled fellow photographers who've had the good fortune to work with her so far, I'm fairly certain she's only just getting warmed up.
