Figuratively

I have a background in both fine & figurative art and photography and aim for artistic depictions of the figure. I do primarily male nudes and portraits, which I've shot for over 15 years now.

My work is figuratively geometric, with a strong focus on form and color. I prefer working in tandem with man-made environments, depending upon what is unique or compelling about the person and the locale.

Interested models in the area or those traveling to the Bay Area should feel free to contact me. I work best with models who are exploratory and comfortable in their own skin, and don't have too theatrical a personality (as that tends to overwhelm the visual tone I'm seeking).

A photoshoot with me is either TFP (you get images, I get a release), you get paid (I get release, you get images), or you pay me (headshots, specific requests, fashion; you can keep the rights or can sign a release if I feel the images would be appropriate for my work, in that case the rates would be discounted).

Always happy to work with people in the area or travelling. I shoot usually outdoors so prefer someone who is slightly adventurous or knows of private areas nearby with decent light.
