I am a working and award winning photojournalist who is undertaking a project intended to be a coffee table book. Influenced by Helmut Newton and looking at the darker side of Americana. The shots will be classified as fine art nudes, however not all will be nudes. Just be aware that if you want to shoot for this project that you shouldn't have a problem with nudes. Ok, that all being said, more details.
I have been in contact with the publisher and they want the body of work submitted prior to issuing an advance on the book, so I am self funding.
If I approach you to participate in the project, the shoots will have to be TFCD, but you will have great images for your portfolios. I will provide in writing to any models involved a guarantee of royalties upon publication or from the sale of any prints (10% you can see the page where prints are available by clicking the link at the top of this profile).
I intend to sell prints of images taken from the shoots, these will not be the same images used for the book and will help me finance the project. You will receive royalties from any print sales and you will have this in writing as well.
The images on here now are all tests done with a local model I have worked with a great deal. I plan to keep things pretty tightly under wraps but as the project progresses I may be adding images to this portfolio from the shoots. If so, they will not be images for the book or prints but will be from the shoots for the book and prints so that you can keep up with the general feel of the project and its development.
While I make my living as a photojournalist, I do also hire out for portfolio development, so if your not interested in this project but would like to hire me to shoot for you, just let me know, my rates are reasonable and when hired, your images and your concepts are my #1 priority. I am sorry, but I do not do any TFCD work unless it is for a project of mine that I contact you about and I feel that working with you will benefit my portfolio as much as it will yours.
