During University I modelled my own work and other students garments. I really enjoyed getting dressed up and the inspiration i get from working with other people like photographers. Since leaving Uni i havent had the same chance to do any photoshoots. I am not fussy, the more crazy the better!
I have a strong and individual style, i have piercings, brightly coloured hair and a tattoo, but i am willing to tone down or exaggerate these features to suit the requirements of shoots.
Most of my photos have been taken and styled by myself (unless credited) as part of my work from uni, since leaving i have decided that i enjoy being in front of the camera instead of behind. i need some good quality high fashion, alternative or fetish photos as i think my look can be used in any of these areas, to expand my portfolio.
I really like surreal photography such as Tim Walker and Gregory Crewdson, fashion photographers like David Lachapelle and Kaoru Izima and art photography by Cindy Sherman and Nobuyoshi Araki.
I have recently been to japan and i am really inspired by geisha (i was lucky enough to see the autumn dances in gion) and gothic lolita fashion. I bought back some kimono inspired and lolita dresses and accessories that i want to do a photoshoot with.
I also want to do a 40s inspired shoot continuing from the film noir image in my photos, i would like to include my cats! and maybe some nudity but these are just vague ideas.
