I found my passion for photography through my passion for theatre. As a photographer, I found that my propensity as an actor to "people watch" has translated into my favorite subject matter! People are amazing subjects. Never the same twice, even just from frame to frame. We all perform, whether deliberately or unintentionally, and I want to capture the show!

Joan Marcus once said, "A photograph of a play or a musical should be evocative. It should be compelling. It should pique your interest. The mood, the lighting, the composition should make you want to know more about what's going on - when you look at that picture, it should make you want to see the show." I couldn't agree more and I feel that my perspective as an actor has helped me get in touch with that side of photography. As a photographer I want my audience to feel, like I do as an actor, that they too are "in the show." That they are not watching but experiencing.

It doesn't matter if "the show" is an actual play or musical, the streets of New York city, an imaginary forest, or someone playing in front of a blank studio wall, I want to be there to make it available to you! Consider me that best friend who always invites you to be in the show and come play!
