Burlesque newbie, circus trainee, improv artiste, stage/festival volunteer, emerging performer, Internet addict, multicultural cosmopolitan, artistic model wannabe, creative dabbler, interdisciplinary iconoclast.
I'm interested in various sorts of creative pursuits, having spent years on writing, webdesign, media, and events. Currently I'm training as a circus artsworker with Vulcana Women's Circus, performing improv with Edge Improv, learning burlesque with Lena Marlene and the Scoundrelles, and volunteer with events, festivals, and community work when I get the chance.
I've just started The Merch Girl, a burlesque+events/stage assistance venture that provides services in merchandise selling, front-of-house, stage managing, and other events-related work with a performative twist. She was christened at the Burlesque Ball in Brisbane and the name will stick for a while! I'll like to entertain your fans while making your event flow easier and reduce your stress. "The Merch Girl" is also my burlesque/modelling/creative name for most projects starting mid-March.
I haven't done much modelling (aside from personal glamour pics and the occasional newspiece) but I'm interested in producing artistic portraits as well as professional headshots for performance work. Implied nudity and light fetish possibly OK; depends on the assignment. Talk to me if you have any ideas.
