Born Meghan Joan Law, but I am more commonly known as MJ Law. If you strike up one conversation with me or work with me, you will notice I am not your average 18 year old. 90% of the people who know me would most likely describe me as "outgoing" and "eccentric". In fact, the word "normal" makes me cringe a great deal. I try to maintain positive thoughts, but every strong person cracks at one point or another. I keep my dreams big and am an extreme perfectionist...

My modeling career technically started when I was 12. I adored being in front of a camera and eventually was convinced by a dance instructor to enter the "Most Photogenic" category at various dance competitions I attended. With winning almost everytime I entered, I have a collection of plaques that I have hung on my bedroom wall that I am very proud of. Eventually, I decided to quit competiting in dance in order to take classes for the love of it and to build up my technique. That meant no more photogenic entries for the time being.

In August 2007, I got bored one day and as a joke made a music Myspace page. So I met up with my vocal instructor at the time and recorded a few cover songs to put up. Ironically, I kept receiving a ton of friend requests and comments saying how talented I was. A few months down the road, the vocal coach and I went our own ways. One day I started writing songs intensely. Along the way, I met Keith Brown, who composed my first single, "Stick It In Your Ear".

Now every singer has got to do a promotional shoot, right?! You bet'cha! My mother had set up a photo shoot with Scott Legato, who has shot for Rolling Stone. Let's just keep it simple and say I had a complete blast in front of the camera. Scott was actually the one who brought me to Model Mayhem.

Moved out to Los Angeles, California in October 2008 from Indiana. Met up with some photographers out here to do various shoots. I have also done some agency go sees since I've been out here. I have also acted in an upcoming independant horror movie called "Mental Scars", out December 15, 2009. I also have a song in the movie. (www.mentalscars.com) As far as music is concerned, I am currently working on my new demo with Grammy nominated producer, Alex Cantrall. My Myspace Page (link at top) has grown to more than 26,000 people. I also am signed musically with Abbiko Management, which is based out of the UK. Life is good, you could say.
