Greetings mayhemers! I'm Demolita, but YOU can call me Demmy, you special thing. Demolita Mortier is not my real name. Despite the fact that "Demolita" + "Mortier" is way too awesome a marriage des noms to be real, certain peoples on MM seemed to think that it was. So now you have been warned.

I've been working as a freelance model since early 2006. Modelling is not a vanity project for me - I don't think I'm beautiful in the slightest. I model to have some kind of control over the aesthetic: to evoke something in those who see the produced photographs, to create new worlds and stories.

I have a high regard for the artistic discipline for photography. As such, I am quite exclusive in accepting TFP/CD shoots. Modelling is my art, not a commercial venture, thus I only undertake those concepts that appeal to the small child inside me, who sits in wonder at the works of Mark Ryden, Camille Rose Garcia and Sylvia Ji.
However, in my support of the Melbourne art/alternative scene, I am more than happy to model for local designers or publications.

If you have any ideas for imaginative photoshoots, do share. I crave originality in photography and art. If you would like to work with me but are uncertain of a concept, message me via this site and we may be able to work something out.

I do not work for free - my precondition for TF* shoots is that I receive high resolution images in a timely manner.
