I have been photographing since the early 80's, but really got into photographing people while working on my degree in art. Some of my images have been shown in galleries and I've even sold one or two, but I do photography for my soul not what I can get for it. I am an old school B&W film photographer. I rarely shoot anything in color and prefer to shoot with available light whenever possible.
The color images in my portfolio were shot in B&W then converted to color. Yes I know that is backwards from the way most people think, but it works for me.
Although I prefer the solitude of the darkroom to the frustration of sitting in front of a computer, I unwillingly traded in my film camera for a digital camera after all my equipment was stolen. Now my goal is to continually improve in the digital arena, to learn from others and hopefully pass something on.

1. Look at my available dates on this page before asking me to shoot with you, pick the available date that is your preference and I will block off that time.
2. If you contact me and you don't have a specific theme in mind don't ask me what the theme is for the shoot because there isn't one...
3. Don't ask me what you should wear because I don't know what is in your closet. Bring what you want.
Please note, I do not give out unedited raw images for any reason.
