Makeup artist Liz Cano is a painter driven by love for art and passion for color.  Personally, she believes fate played its part in guiding her into makeup artistry.  She is a graduate with a degree in Art from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005.  While transitioning into the professional world, her vision for art went from painting canvases to painting faces.  Indeed, she feels makeup is a medium that ables one to explore color. 
Liz has been working with makeup professionally for 5 years with most of her experience in New York City.  She’s worked with multiple makeup lines including Estee Lauder, Clinique, Kiel’s, and Laura Mercier. 

    Liz has collaborated with New York based photographers like Joey Quintero, Hector Caminero, and Greg Northdrop.  Her experience is not limited to still photography but also includes work in motion pictures.  She worked various television and independent films productions including a documentary for the talented matchmaker and author Andrea Syrtash.

    Cano feels makeup doesn't just make you look beautiful it also represents people’s attitudes towards themselves.   Her looks go from clean simplicity to bold bursts of color.  Wether your looking for a sophisticated, classy, dramatic, or just to enhance your natural beauty with a flawless look, she wants to reveal your definition of beautiful. 
   
    Her biggest influences are Laura Mercier, Kevin Aucoin, and Dick Page. She currently lives in Texas with her husband.
