OH HEEEEEEY :) I'm Charley Nicolle and I'm currently studying Contour Fashion BAhons at De Montfort University :)
I have previously had my work shown at the Clothes Show, Birmingham, and have recently had work shown at HAIR, FASHION, GLAMOUR, MUSIC; a show at a fabulous warehouse which showcased garments, hair styles and makeup :) i'll soon be designing, making and customising underwear and other garments for the summer parties at Gatecrasher :)
I'm hoping this site will help me get in touch with photographers, makeup artists, models etc who can help me further my portfolio and really show myself off to my full potential :) I'd also like to help other people out wherever I can, too :) the experience would be great :)
This summer I'm looking to get my final collection and other clothes/lingerie properly photograped, modelled and maybe get some help from a stylist :) if you're interested just ask me whats going on, and we can try and arrange something :) If you would like any info on my collection or anything else about me just ask. I could send you some sketches of my work, my final collection, or anything else you might be interested in getting me to make. I'd be open to offers of work over the summer, designing and making things for people :) I charge reasonable rates :)
I am sending out this casting for a friend who is looking for some really TALENTED clothing designers who's clothes make a statement and stand out!! also looking for phtoographers, make up artists and hair stylists to work with on the day!!!
Successful designers will be taking part in a CELEBRITY RED CARPET EVENT launching a MAGAZINE in a few months.
This event has a HUGE amount of coverage with great networking possibilities!! This is something which you would NOT REGRET BEING PART OF!!! This event is a HIGH FASHION EVENT and will be a great addition to your credits!!
This event will also be working with 'Models of diversity' who strive for change in the industry to have more diversity in shape, size and race. They work closely with well known directors, photographers, hairdressers and mua's within the idustry and are getting a lot more coverage from radio, papers etc. So again!! THIS IS SOMETHING BIG TO GET INVOLVED WITH!!
Designers will need to have peices to present to the fashion show management team so that they can be approved.
Also designers may be neeeded for additional photoshoots which will be great for more portfolio building! Also designers have a chance of being featured in the magazine!!

This is Jessica from J Model Management (www.jmodelmanagement.co.uk). We are having a grand fashion show this coming 13 June 09 in Birmingham's most prestigious night club Gatecrasher (www.gatecrasher.com/birmingham).
The event will have massive media coverage from Birmingham Mail and Sunday Mercury newspapers, Style magazine, Inside Magazine, 24-7 Live magazine, and Touchbase magazine. The fashion show will be choreographed by international movement director Robert Downer, known for his work in Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein Fashion Show, and the Hollywood production Bring it on 2. The VIPs including more than 30 professional photographers from all over the country and managers of big department stores including Selfridges, Debenhams, and House of Fraiser.
This is the 2nd Fashion Show by J Model Management and we are giving the opportunity for UK designers to show their creative work on the runway besides big brands like Karen Millen, Vera Wang, Preview, Rock Couture, Kookai, and Urban Outfitters. You will have a chance to
- Gain publicity via media coverage
- Receive professional photos of your models on the runway
- Receive 5 tickets for the fashion show (worth £100)
- Have your name and website promoted on J Fashion Show website
- Have your designs shown in 2 big screens to all the participants before the fashion show
- Network with professionals in Fashion Industry
If interested, please send your details together with photos of your designs. Each independent designer will have 5-7 pieces on the runway.
There is a minimum cost of £199 to participate in the event. The deadline for participation request is by Tuesday 2nd June 09.
