My photography is an avocation and as such, various projects advance at their own pace. My interests lean towards figure studies, portraiture and "lifestyle" photography and of course, growing up in New England, I love landscapes. With this series I hope to channel classic figure studies and portraiture to create my own version of photo reality. My photos owe much to my northern California residence, and my Vermont roots. I once thought I would be Ansel Adams with a 35 mm camera, later I attempted to channel Edward Weston with mixed results! More recently I filter my current work with an eye to location, theme, and collaborative energy. I still shoot the occasional roll of black and white film but limit my old school dabbling by scanning the negatives. Whether a warm California Spring, or a chilly late Summer Vermont stream, locations play a big part in my images. These images are ongoing.
Also, if you want to say something to me, SAY SOMETHING! A friend request alone seems silly. A real comment - more than "Good Capture!" is always appreciated.
After a long time (ok, about 4 minutes) pondering life, love and photography, I have composed a poem. It goes something like this:
"Ode To Model Mayhem"
Oh MM girl with breasts inflated
I hope to God that you’re not jaded!
With Photoshop your pores are gone.
A natural girl? For that I long!
No pimples, freckles, one buttock dimple.
Want flawless? Sure! It’s oh so simple.
I know the style I just can’t do it,
I shoot old school work,
You CAN get through it!
I’ll take your photo. What is a “capture”?
A good one might give me the rapture.
I welcome all, give me a ring,
It’s quasi-art, It just might sing!
So thanks for reading my little poem,
If you throw stones, I hope they’re foam!
Good-bye, good luck, and thanks for listening,
Your attention has left my blue eyes glistening!

Thank you for the photo comment. However, I didn't see any clothing marks that were noticeable. Maybe I didn't look hard enough but there's none that are visible to me.
