I shoot a fair amount of nude work. It’s not the only work I do and it’s certainly not an obsession; but I believe it is a beautiful and worthwhile form. I am committed to quality work in this genre and it is my standard policy, regardless of any other aspect of our agreement, to get individual approval from the model on every nude image I choose to use in any way. You won't get very far into my port before you realize that I sell some nude work to sites I believe share some of my aesthetic and that I feel are reputable. Art
I recently finished an interesting book on the theory of language and it has provided me with a rather eloquent explanation of art and its role in our society. To paraphrase, the idea is that while language is pretty good at describing ideas and concepts, it is less well suited to conveying emotions and textural realities such as the color of the sky, the taste of a good gumbo or the sensation of a soft touch. Art answers this dilemma elegantly and effectively. This is the ground I seek to occupy. Not everything in my port will qualify; but they are all steps on this path.
What to do, what to do
If I had to rely on my photography to survive, I would surely starve to death. However serious I may be about the art, I also make time for portraits, portfolio work and commercial opportunities. Creating unique images will always be my primary passion and I think that passion can co-exist, even overlap with the business of photography.
For my own taste, I like to shoot high, tightly cropped faces with lots of detail and interest. I like the so-called alternative and gothic style also, although I am not so much interested in the bondage or gore look. I haven't shot much in this genre and will enthusiastically agree to working with people on these types of projects. I like for my pictures to speak of fun and joy of life combined with sensuality and art nude perspectives.
Escorts
I am an escort friendly photographer. That’s not to say I feel it’s necessary or even a good idea; but if it helps a model to feel comfortable, I’m down. Certain policies will apply, of course; but if this is an issue for you, it needn’t be. Along those same lines, I am more than happy to provide model references. Nearly everyone in my port is still active and can be written directly.
Makeup Artist
My girlfriend is a talented, established makeup artist. She is available to add something special to our work. She is also a veritable fountain of unique and creative ideas and has a great eye for detail. She would be an asset to any shoot, so don’t hesitate to ask for her if you are interested.
TFCD
You indulge my ideas, I’ll indulge yours. Payment in either direction is not out of the question; but I’d far rather work with someone as a creative equal than as an employer or employee. My TFCD terms are liberal and generous. Naturally, if you are coming to me for a commercial head shot, full portfolio session or expect prints – we need to discuss some financial arrangements.
Life Socks
Life Socks is a series of Playboy style nudes with a pair of unique socks being the common element in each photograph. Every image is themed and designed to convey a playful combination of sensuality and joy. This project is designed mainly to build name and style recognition for myself and the participating models, makeup artists and stylists. As such, there is no pay offered, however I will gladly trade TFCD time for your participation. My goal is eventual publication in a format determined by the total number of quality images produced.
Junkyard Dogs
Junkyard Dogs is a high-fashion/lingerie photo project with the goal of editorial publication. Revenue, if any, will be shared with participating models; but no upfront pay is offered. Any unused shots will be made available to participating models as TFCD compensation. I am supplying multiple makeup artists and stylists and we have a great location lined up. We also have a few Northeast Florida businesses supplying clothing and are actively recruiting original designers and artists for this project. Ideally, I would like to have 10 to 12 female and 3 to 5 male models for this shoot. Please write me for more details.
Twisted Tales
Twisted Tales is a series of dark, surreal, sensualized twists on classic fairy tales and children’s stories. Miscellaneous targets for publication have been identified, either as art prints or editorial submissions. As with the other ideas, there is no upfront pay; but like most of these projects, these are collaborations and revenue-sharing is generous should there be any revenue to share.

All images in my port are model linked where appropriate. Models not so identified have asked for their information to be withheld. Writing me won't change that. I'm not a model hog, I'm just respecting the requests of the non-professionals in my port who do not wish to be randomly contacted. Thanks for understanding.
On a related note, if you ask me to refer you to a model and I say I will, then I will. I am not responsible for a model not contacting you directly once I've done my part. If, under this or any other set of circumstances, you choose to bad mouth me to a model, please don't be so stupid as to do it to one of my best collaborators and close personal friends.
