. . . My name is BANDI ANDREW GUSZTAV SZAKONY. I am Hungarian / Canadian, born and raised in Calgary, Canada. My birthday is July 12 when I turned 43. ... And, if you look through my portfolio, you may even find me smiling back at you!

. . . I have had a passion for photography since I was 5 and I enjoy every opportunity to provide expression of this passion. I enjoy capturing images of beautiful people, whether beauty is physical or otherwise. It is both a joy and a pleasure to capture the right moment in an image.

. . . I have had the honor of working with many talented models, both amateur and professional. Whoever the model, wherever the shoot, I believe the collaboration between photographer and subject makes all the difference!

. . . My photographic equipment includes: Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III, Canon EOS 1Ds, Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM, Canon Zoom Lens EF 70-200mm 1:4 L USM, Canon Macro Lens EF 100mm 1:2.8 USM, Canon Zoom Lens EF 24-70mm 1:2.8 L USM, several strobes, soft boxes, umbrellas, and props. Our studio is located at my home. Sometimes, I have an assistant for the shoots. I handle most of the image editing. My wife, Lili, also sometimes helps with the shoots, if our 6-year-old daughter, Viola, is in a good enough mood ;D

We enjoy indoor, studio, as well as outdoor sessions.  Of course, we handle all the "regular" photography, but also open to shooting TFP/TFCD; adding to both of our portfolios and getting you valuable exposure. We are constantly searching for new models, and willing to explore new, creative ideas.

. . . My photographic assignments have included travel to parts of Europe and throughout North America.
