What to say about myself *hmmm*.
I developed an interested in photography about 1995. I had a look at several photography and art schools in this year and finally settled on 'Melbourne School of Art'. I approached them in an interest to study photography but was told that because I had no camera or portfolio they couldn't accept me so off I went buying heaps of photography books and taught myself photography for a fair while as well as teaching myself about all the different camera's out there and finally went out and bought my own camera. I then put a small portfolio together, went back to the school and they accepted me. I then went on to study photography there 'part time' for 5 years.
I have the following certificate's:
Adobe Photoshop, December 2nd 2002
(Am familiar with 5.5, 6, 7 and CS3. I have an excellent ability at digital re-touching having done it for many years)
"Melbourne School of Art" certificates,
Advanced certificate of photography 'Medium format and Large format', 'Studio photography', June 22nd, 2000
'Studio photography 2, November 25th, 1999'
Awarded certificate in 'Black and White photography', November 1998.
'Black and White 2', November 28th, 1998
'Black and White 1'. June 25th, 1997
'Camera technique', November 20th, 1996
'Basic photography', September 14th, 1995
As I stated I studied part time but worked in between semesters, along with buying studio and photography equipment as I studied and worked.
I have had photos printed in the 'Melbourne Bride Magazine', Issue No 34, July 2002. (But must emphasize these were photos of reception area's not models)
I have had a portrait photo also printed in the catalogue 'Wine regions of Victoria', 2002 issue.
I worked for a week at a modeling agency as their in-house studio photographer in the year 2000. Their main photographer took a weeks holiday off so I replaced him for that period. I also did a lot of model testing to the benefit of both myself and the models.
I have displayed 7 'Portrait' photo's at an Art gallery in November 2000 but this was part of my schools Art gallery display.
I have also done one wedding but did not find it enjoyable since I couldn't take my time with every detail of a photograph as I like to in photo shoots. Although in shoots I always like to leave room for spontaneity and am more then open to idea's from the model or that are thought of on the spare of the moment.
I have an intense passion for photography and am very serious about my career.
I am interested in working with models for TFP but you would need to have a look that interests me or something I believe would add to my port. I also require a 'full model release' signed at the end of all TFP shoots.
I require a full model release to be signed at the end of the shoot giving me complete copyright. Cash in hand will be given after
the photo shoot and after
the model release has been signed. No payment will be given until the model has done the job and the model release signed.
Any make up artists / hairstylists I hire for a shoot are also paid cash in hand AFTER
I always bring in a professional make up artist and hair stylist on all
shoots I do whether it's a TFP or paid shoot.
I am looking into greatly expanding my own portfolio in different looks and styles of photography. I am also slowly building my own wardrobe of fashion clothing for female models.
I would like to end up having my own studio photography business along with being a freelance photographer for company, business assignments and paying models who would like me to work with them on building their portfolio's.
I love studying and practicing my French and would also like to travel to France for photo shoots. But this is probably many years away at the moment.
I have done many life model shoots and treat both my life models and commercial, fashion models with absolute respect and professionalism. Privacy for my models in regards to life model shoots is also of great importance to me.
I also appreciate models who also take their modeling career seriously and professionally and are willing to put the time and effort into achieving superb images.
All models working with me are more then welcome to bring an escort whether that be your dad, mum, brother, sister, boyfriend, girlfriend. But just the one person please as I don't want a model's attention to be distracted.
I am not interested in doing any porn images but sexy, sensual shots are fine as are artistic nude shots but no pornography thanks.
Looking forward to meeting new models to work with.
Also if you are a minor please bring at least one parent to the photo shoot who can also sign the Model Release.
I do not appreciate models who put up photos of themselves that are well and truly old or where your look has changed and you do not state so in your profile. To those models whom I suspect of doing this I will be asking you and checking references to see if your look is still current.
