About Me

DeMarco Majors Bio
DeMarco Majors has played professional basketball in Argentina, Australia and Brazil—and at home with the American Basketball Association. DeMarco became the first professional men’s basketball player to come out while still playing. DeMarco later joined the San Francisco Rock Dogs. DeMarco was introduced to national television audiences through MTV/Logo’s groundbreaking reality television series Shirts & Skins, which followed the Rock Dogs’ season to their gold medal at the 2006 Gay Games.

DeMarco was selected to OUT magazine’s prestigious “OUT 100” in 2008. He’s walked the runway in New York Fashion Week, appeared on Law & Order, been quoted in EBONY … and was featured as the male lead in Beyoncé‘s “Freakum Dress” video.

DeMarco Majors and B-Boy Blues’ James Earl Hardy are contributors to the critically-acclaimed anthology For Colored Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Still Not Enough. DeMarco made his stage debut in J.L. King’s “RAW.” ##
