Anna Premoli was born in Vizzolo Predabissi (MI) Italy in 1988, starting to study classical dance from a very young age. In 2007 she started to study at M.A.S. a Professional Contemporary Dance Academy in Milan, under the direction of Elisa Guzzo Vaccarino. There she trained in classical ballet, Cunningham, Release and Nikolais techniques, Contact Improvisation, acrobatic, choreographic lab and theatre. She improved her knowledge studying with Jeremy Nelson, Marco Mazzoni, Michele Merola, Grazia Galante (formed Maurice Béjart’s dancer), Laura Aris Alvarez (Wim Vandekeybus’ dancer), Jan Fabre and the Michael Clark Company. In 2008 she studied intensively with the company Aterballetto, under the direction of Mauro Bigonzetti. There she took part to some master classes with Bradley Shelver, Fabrizio Monteverde, repertory lessons and choreographic lab with Mauro Bigonzetti. She took part in “ Addadanza festival 2009” as a dancer in the choreography “Mutuo Soccorso” by Michela Lucenti and still in 2009 she attended in a performance for a Edgar Monet art exhibition at Palazzo Reale in Milan, dancing her own work. From November 2009 and May 2010 she has been engaged with the dance theatre performance “Body Work n.2” by Elisa Lepore. In May 2010 Anna took part in “Addadanza festival 2010” and in “Dance Machine festival” at Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan, dancing in two works by Matteo Levaggi, resident choreographer of Balletto Teatro di Torino. In September 2010 she studied intensively with the Wayne McGregor’s Random Dance Company. Anna cooperated with IED Istituto Europeo di Design to realize a video based on the relationship between fashion and dance, in February 2011 Anna performed in a Tony & Guy fashion show in Rome.
