You may consider commiting to and working in series bound deeply into projects, so that one-time demonstrations of technique, as with the variety of psychedelic booty, produce a statement larger than the applied method. What I liked about the tractor: the American Gothic oddness of the juxtaposition. Sep 03 05 10:39 pm Link That totally depends what you want to accomplish. The picture of the family doesn't sync at all with the rest of your portfolio here. If you want models to work with you, show good model work. If you want to show your style, only show stuff that displays that style. If you want to show variety, you're pretty much on track (though that family shot has highlights that are way blown). Sep 03 05 10:47 pm Link I would stick with the body painting. I think it's your best stuff. It seems like your having more fun shooting that stuff, the rest of your shots seem a little stiff. Sep 03 05 10:52 pm Link I will keep all this in mind, thank you Sep 11 05 05:03 am Link the kids and the family pic that doesnt go with the port of tattoo fetish images at all Sep 11 05 03:00 pm Link DragonFlyImage wrote: Yep. Sep 11 05 07:14 pm Link As a person preference, I'd say dump your avatar, they rob others of posting space on the main page and since we're all supposed to be equal, I feel it's a violation of my space.
As with any model I work with, I hope he/she has an idea what type of modeling they want to do and care to build on that theme, if the model comes to me and say's "I'd like/love to work with you" I ask them what type of images they want, and I usually get "I was hoping you had some ideas or what would you suggest?". Wrong answer - I do performance art; I shoot a lot of live performers and mostly burlesque and gothic themes. I don't have photos of animals, cars, buildings, kids or landscapes. So to answer your question, the only photo âIâ? like (keep in mind what I shoot) is the retro looking brunette on the second page and I hate looking at anyoneâs second page. If they canât inform their audience of what they do in 20 photos, they need more help then I can give them. Iâm not knocking you, just making a statement. Find your niche and good luck shooting.
